"Renowned producers DJ Scotch Egg and Shitmat came together to form Cosmic Lasagne. They spent a week jamming and recording and this is the outcome of their creativity- boundless free-format genre-defying music.

Shigeru Ishihara
DJ Scotch Egg (born Shigeru Ishihara) is a Japanese producer of chiptune/gabba music based in Brighton, England. He has released music on the Wrong Music label, Adaadat and was signed to Load Records after Lightning Bolt was impressed by his music. A new album entitled Scotch Hausen was released in Spring 2007. Contributions with other artists include Ove-Naxx, Hrvatski, Mike Paradinas, Duracell, Bong-Ra, The Pipettes and The Go! Team. Labels: Wrong music, Small But Hard, Warp.

Henry Collins
The Shitmat sound is a roller coaster ride of splintered jungle, rave, old school, gabber and attention deficit disorder plunderphonic mashups. No genre is sacred no sample is safe. Over the last 8 years Shitmat has released 8 EPs and 6 studio albums shared between Planet Mu and Wrong Music. His 2nd album ‘Full English Breakfast’ captured the
imagination and mood of the then emerging breakcore/mashup scene, mixing up jungle blast beats, gabber influences and Ragga Vocals. Championed by the late great John Peel Shitmat went on to record three BBC radio one sessions for rob da bank and Huw Stephans. Labels: Planet Mu, Deathsucker, Wrong Music, Ad-Noiseam."
